Don on Rooftop

This is a commission sketch done for Melinda. She asked for a Don, and it seemed that she wanted him in something other than your normal fighting pose- she pretty much left it up to me. This is my first real "scene" painting, and I was a little nervous about having to cover a large piece of blank background. Hopefully it came out ok.

  4. absolutely lovely man..!

Maybe I'm a bit out of it or mis-read it, but do you only do commisions for when you go to conventions or do you mail them out, etc. how much do you charge for normal pencil/ink and pencil/ink/color?

Cos I gotta say, I am jealous and wanting one. :)

  5. The majority of the sketches that I do are done through the mail, these days. Folks will contact me at my email address and we'll figure out just what they want, and I'll give them a price. As a rule, it's $50. for a b&w single figure. Add color to that and the price doubles. 2 figures- that's $100. and if you want those colored, double that again.
Thanks for the nice comments- if you decide that want to pull the trigger, I can be reached at jmlawsn@aol.com
