The Art and Times of Jim Lawson
It looks cool. I like how Raph looks now. I know it probably won't be permanent but it sure is entertaining.
Lovely work, Jim. It's so nice to see just the pencils as a lot of those details can get lost with the inks. Thanks for sharing. I'll be looking forward to this issue! Gotta love Gamera Raph!
Man your pencils are so good Jim, something tends to get lost in the transition to inked finished comic for me allot of the time, I'm not sure what it is.I love how Casey is yelling at Raphael who could seriously just snap him in 2 right on the spot lol
-->> yeh how will this be inked.I am indifferent either way, but i find Vaughn's point interesting none- the - less.
I would just like to say how much I appreciate this blog that you do here, Jim. I don't comment much because I don't have great internet access, but I do check up on here pretty much every day (via my phone.)Must say that your art is great, I absolutely love it, and even more so when it has been inked by yourself. Especially recently, with your later work on Tales. The most recent issue, Tales 55 is up there with my all time favourites, it was amazing...Is it okay to ask a couple of questions? If so, firstly, I would ask: Twelve bean soup? Never heard of it, but it sounds good. How is it? And B) So you ever check up on sites such as the technodrome forums? Thirdly, do you ever sell original art work? If so, do you have plans to open an online store, or is it just through cons and shows, etc... Being over here in scotland, its hard to get to these conventions!
