  2. Awesome! I love the the contrast in your art. Lost of deep blacks and bright whites. Also, great composition. Coming up with a believable yet dynamic pose is something I really need to work on.

  4. That looks awesome. I am really looking forward to this series. Any idea on when it will be released? Can you go into detail on the plot of this mini?

  5. The Don mini-series, I'm guessing will be out sometime around this September, and will feature covers colored by Steve Lavigne.
As for the plot, I don't want to give too much away, but I will say this: back in TMNT vol. 4, issue 9- Donatello visits a secret and mysterious room in the sewers where, strapped to a wall were the remains of the Baxter Stockman robot. At that time, it was established that it had been 4+ years since their last visit. I wanted to write a story about what occurred in that period of time. What actually got written was in the day and days immediately following Baxter's placement in the room.
I really liked what Pete seemed to be trying to do at that time- trying to show a different side to Don, a perhaps "darker" side.
    Hopefully I succeeded.

  8. Oh, wow. That is really beautiful. As cover art I imagine it's going to be colored, but I really like the drama it has in b&w.

  9. It looks like Don is bashing a robot not a foot soldier.

  11. sorry my bad, it's hard for me to tell these days since the foot have taken on the look of the 2k3 cartoon in the modern comics.
Not that I mind, but that's sort of why it confused me.
