Recent Random Paleo Panel

I've been feeling kinda guilty that I haven't blogged in so long- so I thought that perhaps I would just look around at some of the stuff I've been working on recently and post some random panels. Pencilling on Berger's Nobody issue is done and I actually inked the first page and a half today. However, this panel was done a couple of days ago as part of 3 Paleo pages that I managed to ink in between working on Dan's story.

  4. It seems like a lot of you guys at Mirage have common interests: specifically motorcycles and dinosaurs (well, at least both you and Pete seem to love motorcycles and dinosaurs). There a story behind that, or is that just a coincidence?

Oh, and great work as always!

  5. Yeah is the love of dinos and bikes just a coincidence or was it something that actually brought the 2 of you together?

  6. Funnily, it was just a coincidence. Not too long after I first met Kevin and Pete, they made the decision to relocate Mirage from Northwestern CT back up to Northampton. When I followed I knew that one of the first things I wanted to do was get a motorcycle- (I'd had a couple of old bikes from when I lived down in Connecticut, but I was always so broke that I would buy a bike, then a short time later, have to sell it). From talking to Pete I knew that he had once had a motorcycle and one of my first early rides was to his house. I guess that rekindled something in him and not too long after that he went out and got a bike too. The rest is history, as they say.
The same with the dinos. Fortunately for me, it's simply a love we both share.

  7. No, funnily is not a word, but that shouldn't stop you from using it :) Thanks for the answer to the Dinos/Bikes question.

Actually, kinda a funny story. When I went to the NYCC last month and brought my girlfriend on one of the days, I asked her if she was interested in meeting you guys at Mirage. She said she wasn't interested in TMNT, so what could she talk about. Well, she's very fond of both motorcycles and dinosaurs herself, so I said a couple of you had those interests, and she didn't believe me :)

  9. Yeah, I'm pretty sure that funnily is a word. Funnily enough! I use it heaps and spell-checker says it's cool.
