  1. Nice to see the turtles in trench coats again.

  2. Out of curiosity, why do Mikey's chucks have string now instead of chains?

  3. Interesting question- although I think I've been drawing them with strings lately I know Pete prefers chains. Does anyone know which is more correct?

  4. I think chains appeared earlier and much more often, especially if you count the cartoons, movies, and toys and not just the comics. I always assumed that the strings appeared because some of the Mirage artists started getting a bit lazy (no offense intended).

  8. The majority of the nunchaku that I have seen usually have a cord/s connecting the two sticks.

  9. This is pretty sweet, turtles in trenchcoats are always good. I especially like all the 'dangly' bits - his scarf, coat-belt, bandana, etc, and the flames are great too.. Its also cool to see the lighter pencils under the final darker ones - seeing what bits you changed from your 'guider'. Will this be coloured by Steve Lavigne, I wonder?

  10. Yup- Steve Lavigne will be handling the colors and yes again, that's fire that Mikey is falling into.

    Vaughn- I'm surprised and honored. If you're going to be in San Diego, perhaps I can hook you up with something pencilled for you to ink and color if you wish.

  13. -->> .. i'm saddened , as one who's never - ever wavered come hell or high water unlike others .. i stood by Jim's work no matter what.

    Some cases defended it almost brutally .. and then it all turns topsey turvey and i'm once again the freek in the corner and then every things all ' Boot licking' anymore.

    Amazing.. wow ;{
